WHERE, HOW AND WHY ARE DESIGNS APPLIED

Cambro Art Edition represents the conceptual core of the BULTİŞAD Art × Industry 2026 edition.

Through it, the project clearly defines how the selected artistic designs move beyond the exhibition space and enter a real industrial context.

Cambro Art Edition is a limited art–industry series that reproduces selected artworks on Cambro trays using unique production technologies. It is not a souvenir line, not a mass-market product, and does not replace the original artwork, but represents an independent collectible art object.

The choice of Cambro trays as the medium is conceptual. The tray is an industrial object with a clear form, function, and materiality. Through artistic intervention, it is transformed from a functional item into a carrier of cultural content. This allows artists to clearly understand where, how, and in what context their design will be used.

Cambro Art Edition includes the works of the 30 selected participants, determined in the first stage of the selection process. Participation in Art Edition is automatic following selection and is not linked to finalist status. In this way, Art Edition becomes the main visual and conceptual platform of the project.

For each selected artwork, a limited series of 10 Cambro Art Edition trays is produced. Each replica is individually numbered, signed by the artist, carries the institutional marking of BULTİŞAD, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

The distribution of the series is clear and transparent:

5 pieces

For the author (personal ownership, sale, or archive);

2 pieces

For the BULTİŞAD collection;

2 pieces

For auction purposes and in support of the Cultural Interaction Fund;

1 piece

An archival and promotional copy.

Cambro Art Edition does not transfer copyright and does not restrict the author’s future use of the original artwork. The original remains unique and autonomous, while Art Edition extends its life into a new media and functional context.

Through Cambro Art Edition, the project achieves transparency, trust, and sustainability. It is the material manifestation of the Art × Industry philosophy—the place where art gains real application without losing its identity.
